通臂拳,又称通背拳,中国武术拳种之一,属长拳类拳术。通臂拳是模仿猿猴运臂的动作和特点,结合武术招法创编而成。近现代流传的通臂主要有“祁家通臂”“白猿通臂”“劈挂通臂”三种,此外还有流传于山西的“关中通臂”“洪洞通臂”“两仪通臂”,以及流传于天津的“两翼通臂”等。
Tongbi boxing, also known as Tongbei boxing, is one of the Chinese martial arts and belongs to the long boxing. The open arm boxing is created by imitating the movements and characteristics of ape's arm movement and combining martial arts moves. In modern times, there are mainly three kinds of arm boxing: Qi’s Tongbi, white ape Tongbi and hanging Tongbi. In addition, there are also Guanzhong tongbi in Shanxi province, Hongdong, Liangyi and Liangyi in Tianjin.
此拳讲求以“腰背发力,放长击远,通肩达臂”,故名通背拳。许多拳家认为“通臂”与“通背”可通用。
This fist is called Tongbei fist because it emphasizes the principle of "strength from waist and back, long stroke and long stroke, reaching arm through shoulder". Many boxers think that "Tongbi" and "Tongbei" can be used in general.
居家期间练习通臂拳对于发展躯干和上肢的柔韧性,特别是对于提高肩关节灵活性、增加肩关节的活动幅度,有较好的效果。

锻炼法则Exercise rules
有“五护”(即护首、护肘、护心、护肾、护股),“八断”(即动、静、虚、实、刚、柔、急、缓),“势法理”“七操”“五十六字”“十八通串”“十二二要”等论说。
There are "five protections" (i.e. protecting the head, elbow, heart, kidney and thigh), "eight faults" (i.e. movement, stillness, emptiness, reality, hardness, softness, urgency and slowness), "potential jurisprudence", "seven exercises", "Fifty six characters", "Eighteen links", "Twelve two essentials" and so on.
基本身型Basic body shape
头顶、项领、虚胸、紧背、凹肚、探肩、长臂、活腕。

基本手法Basic techniques
中拳、摔掌、拍掌、劈掌、穿牚、掸掌、圈手、撩掌、按掌等。
Middle fist, throwing, clapping, splitting, wearing, dusting, circling, lifting, pressing, etc.
风格特点Style features
腰背发力,放长击远;探背松肩、臂如皮鞭;甩膀抖腕,立抡成圆;吞肚虚胸、拧腰切髋;大开密合,击拍响亮;拈衣发劲,刚后复柔;步内含腿,劲势不断;猿目鹰神,意气贯穿。成套动作蹭拍响亮。
